Across the UK, thousands of individuals find themselves without a place to call home, enduring hardships that often go unnoticed. While there are many homeless charities supporting human needs, the plight of a human with their beloved loyal companion is often overlooked.
The bond between an individual experiencing homelessness and their pet is immeasurable, offering unconditional love, companionship, and solace during their darkest moments. For many, their only companionship comes from the animals they have, creating a powerful bond of empathy and connection. However, limited access to veterinary care and services means their loyal companions may suffer silently, facing preventable illness and injuries through no fault of their own, or their owner.
